    This is the "Gum Game" The object is to have 2 or 3 people hold on to the "gumball" while a group of people try to pull them off of it. The group stuck to the "gum ball" have a couple, or several "blockers" that try to keep the bad guys away. Once you get pulled off the gumball you help keep the bad guys away.
